A BIT ABOUT ME

I love to design and build.

I am a wife, mother, and believer. God is my provider and I try to live a life that is aligned with scripture to fulfill the roles he has given me. As for my career, hobbies and business, I love to design! I am always designing and thinking of items to create or transform.

In High School I had a drafting class and wood shop class that introduced me to drafting and exposed me to tools and equipment. I took Architecture classes in college and started a career in the Construction industry in 2007. Sixteen years later, I am a Designer and Project Manager. I have also started a small business in Furniture Repair and Reupholstery Services. I love to transform furniture pieces that are worn and dated. Whether it be in living spaces, bedrooms, dining rooms or entries, every home has furniture that wears from daily use and will eventually need some type of fixing or replacing.

I focus on recycling items by painting, repairing, restoring and rebuilding if necessary.  I also do upholstery. I do it all with the help and support of my husband and two daughters. The experience I have grows with every furniture piece I work on for clients or myself. The results are gorgeous and stunning transformations that go back into a home with a fresh look.

Let me know how I can help to RENEW your furniture. You can follow me on Instagram and Facebook @renewfurnishingsanddesign for ideas and more projects.

After High School I attended a local college in and enrolled in Industrial Drafting and Architecture.

Started a job in commercial construction. Began as a draftsperson and moved up to a Designer and Project Manager.

I started an LLC to journey on as a small business owner and provide clients options when it comes to furnishing their homes with items they already have or can buy used and customize to their style.
